Creation

Now is the time to take all that you have learned and create! Use any of the applications listed below to create content based on the topic listed below. Groups work is ok but must be able to demonstrate multiple group members worth of work. Submit a screenshot of your work to the Passport for this class. You will have to select “Retry Submission.” This is due by the start of our next exam and is worth the second half of your passport points for the seminar.

You are a nurse working in an outpatient mental health clinic. You just admitted a client that was recently discharged from the inpatient unit with a diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder. The client is a 22-year old Korean-American female, a senior college student and lives alone in a dormitory. The client states, “After I went to college, my family moved back to Korea. I have been very lonely but there is no way that I could tell my family this. It is not good to show any signs of weakness.” Create any type of project that illustrates nursing considerations for love and belonging, self esteem and self-actualization. Be mindful of suicide risk factors, prodromal symptoms and her cultural considerations.
